Have you seen the news? In the on-going fight for women’s rights in sports, another attempt was made to silence Independent Women’s Forum spokeswoman and a 12X All-American swimmer Riley Gaines. At San Francisco State University, Riley was assaulted. We need your help to stand up to misogynist bullies who want to cancel Riley and all of us standing up for women’s rights to have our own sports teams and own locker rooms.

We strongly condemn the violence perpetrated against Riley on campus—we won’t tolerate it and we won’t be intimidated.

Witnesses on the ground told me that “all hell broke out” and it was complete “chaos” as agitators pushed their way into the classroom at the conclusion of her remarks, turned off the lights, and closed in on Gaines. Riley was violently accosted, ambushed, and physically assaulted.

Riley has experienced firsthand the injustice female athletes face across America. As Riley put it just before being attacked at this event, “inclusion cannot come at the expense of women.”

“There are other ways to accommodate trans-athletes without discriminating against female athletes,” Gaines continued. Competitive sport is a zero-sum game, inclusion of male-bodied athletes in women’s sport inevitably denies opportunities to female athletes.

The effort to silence, threaten, and harm women for standing up for women’s rights cannot continue. We’re encouraged that more and more people are starting to realize the state of what’s happen to women and those who are speaking out to save women’s spaces:

The Biden administration, NCAA, and the International Olympic Committee, which are all pushing for biological males in women’s sport, are responsible for creating a culture that increasingly devalues women.

Riley’s unwavering commitment to save women’s sports is honorable. She first spoke out when authorities in sports were telling her to stay silent. She faced a social media mob to speak the truth. She puts herself at risk every time she speaks publicly to defend America’s women and girls.
