The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that every year, 25 million unsafe abortions occur, accounting for between 4.7% to 13.2% of maternal deaths. These grim statistics reveal the need for comprehensive legislation that ensures access to reproductive healthcare for all, irrespective of their location, income, or social standing.

For too long, women and pregnant individuals have been subjected to discriminatory policies that deny them the autonomy they deserve. By passing the Abortion is Healthcare Everywhere Act, Congress can make a stand for justice and fairness, signaling that the United States is committed to supporting the rights of women and pregnant individuals worldwide.
