During my time as your Mayor, I've been working to build Richmond into a city that is welcoming, inclusive, and equitable for all.
Last year, our team made some key investments in our schools, roads, public transportation system, and affordable housing. But there's still work ahead.
Friend -- I know that Richmond can meet its challenges and create opportunities to lift up and empower every single person in our city -- no matter who they are or where they come from.
But I can't keep fighting for One Richmond without your support. Tonight is the first end-of-month deadline of the year. Will you chip in $5 or whatever you can right now to help me create the foundation we need to help make this the greatest city in America in 2020?
In this unique time in history, local government has the power to make the most impactful change. That’s what we’re working to do right here in Richmond.
I'm committed to fighting for our city to make sure our students are successful in every single classroom. I'm reinvesting in our streets to help build better roads and neighborhoods. I'm expanding access to affordable housing, which is why I've invested in our city's first-ever eviction diversion program.
But most of all I'm committed to you and your family, friend. And I need to know, that in 2020, you're still with me in this important work. Please contribute what you can before our first deadline.
