Join the symposium this Friday night at 8 pm entitled: "The Growth of Africa Will Not be Stopped." The symposium will report on the implications of the March 26-April 1st tour of three African nations by VP Kamala Harris, which tour was designed to kill African development.

Harris' trip is the 4th highest level delegation from the US to Africa since the December, 2022 African Summit of the Biden administration.

The administration is in a state of panic regarding Chinese and Russian investment in Africa, and the threat that colonialism might finally be ending. The African tours began in January of 2023 with the trip of Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. Given Yellen's current disastrous policy of bank bailouts now ongoing in the US, one would suspect that what is promised to other nations is more of the same.

In fact, leaders in Africa took the occasion of Vice President Harris' trip to the African nations of Ghana, Zambia and Tanzania to point out the hypocrisy coming from the West. In particular, a lecture concerning "democracy" from nations that have perpetrated assassinations, coups, and regime change wars now rings hollow. And what about the collapsing infrastructure in the U.S. despite its enormous debt? How can a country with $1 trillion in debt service alone, enormous student debt, and constant financial bailouts tell the rest of the world that Chinese investment in infrastructure projects is a debt trap?

Americans can learn a lot from the revolt of leaders from the Global South, and toughen up regarding the policy changes required in the United States and the collapsing West.
