Hi folks,

There’s been a lot going on this past week. Former president Trump was indicted and charged with crimes, and House Republicans continue to defend him. We just had local elections across IL-17. Severe storms just hit Central Illinois and more extreme weather is expected in the coming days.

With so much in the news, I want you to make sure you have a chance to weigh in and let me know what issues are on your mind. What do you want me to look more closely at in Congress?

There’s still time to take our survey and have your voice heard. Please take a few minutes to fill it out.

I value the input of my constituents and supporters, and I’m not relying on pundits and polls to identify the issues folks care about. Your ideas -- on surveys like this one -- help me understand what folks in IL-17 and across the country are thinking about so I can better serve you in Congress. Some may call that unconventional. I call it common sense!

So please, it takes less than 5 minutes. Let us know your thoughts -- I’d really appreciate it.

All my best,

Eric
