96 Knock It Out Now It's hard to believe that there are just over
three weeks until primary election day for our municipal races, but you
don't have to wait until then to cast your ballot.

This past Tuesday,
early voting began and Hoosiers have already started to hit the polls.
You can visit [link removed] indianavoters.com to see who
is on your ballot and find your voting location and hours and knock out
voting at your own convenience. You can also apply for an absentee
ballot if you qualify and learn more about the processes and tools that
the state uses to keep our elections safe and secure (which Indiana has
long been a pioneer in).

Our local elections are just as important as
any other. It's the people that we elect to these positions that help
guide our communities forward, keeping them a place that we're proud to
call home and work to make it one others will too.

So I encourage you
to hit the polls and knock out voting at your own convenience!

Enjoy
this week's newsletter, and please keep those affected by the recent
storms in your thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Chairman Kyle Hupfer

 Governor Holcomb's Week That
WasKicking Off Child Abuse Prevention Month After talking with a few
kids attending the event at the statehouse,Governor Eric Holcomb grabbed
a quick photo with them.
On Tuesday, during an event at the statehouse
kicking off Child Abuse Prevention Month, Governor Eric Holcomb
emphasized the need for every Hoosier to do their part in making sure
the Hoosier state has "healthy, strong, supported families" that are
supporting Hoosier children.

This is a month where we call on every
Hoosier to do their part in making sure Indiana has healthy, strong and
supported families,” said Gov. Holcomb. “Working together to achieve
this is essential to preventing child abuse and helping our communities
thrive.”

The event, put on by the Indiana Department of Child
Services, emphasized the need to collaborate so Hoosier children and
families can thrive.

&utm_content=wndu WNDU:

A resolution memorializing the life of late
Congresswoman Jackie Walorski passed the Indiana Senate on Tuesday.
[link removed]
Senate Concurrent Resolution 38 honors the memory of Walorski, who
served as the U.S. Representative for Indiana’s 2nd congressional
district from 2013 until she died in a car crash in Elkhart County last
August that also killed three others.

The resolution, presented by
State Sen. Linda Rogers (R-Granger), opened proceedings on Tuesday on
the floor of the Senate. Senators from both political parties spoke at
length about Walorski’s impact, but they were quick to pass a
resolution about a congresswoman known to most simply as “Jackie.”
Story continues.

Internshttp://indiana.gop/internships If you know a college student
that's interested in stepping into the world of Hoosier politics, we've
got them covered.

We're looking for young, talented Hoosiers to join
us at our headquarters in Indianapolis. This opportunity allows them to
get hands-on experience working for Indiana's largest and most
successful political organization, providing administrative support to
staff and taking on special projects (and more) while helping build
their resume, gain insight into the political and legislative
processes, and make valuable connections. And we'll do this all while
helping them earn college credit.
