2X THE GIFTS FOR 🌎 WORLD HEALTH DAY 🌎 >> [link removed]
Hi ––
At Special Olympics, we’ve made it our mission to both provide sports opportunities and support access to quality health care so athletes can live and play to their fullest potential.Â
Athletes can score that game-winning goal and get a free health screening. Athletes can meet their new best friend in the pool and work to better their mental health. They can do all of this because of people like you who make Inclusive Health a reality.Â
Inclusive health seeks to improve access to quality health care and fitness opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID). This is necessary because, currently, people with ID face substantial challenges in accessing quality health care and fitness opportunities, resulting in significant health disparities and reduced life expectancy.
In honor of World Health Day, your gift of $50 will be DOUBLED to $100 to support inclusive health, fitness and sports programs for athletes everywhere.
Today we want to recognize that everyone has the right to good health. Thanks to the support of this community, Special Olympics puts this belief into action all year-round through our inclusive health efforts. We train thousands of health care professionals to treat people with ID. We hold programs every day that work to improve healthy lifestyle, fitness, and emotional well-being.

You can help an athlete get his first routine eye screening. You can help a doctor learn how best to communicate and treat her patients with ID. You can help an entire Special Olympics team feel accepted and cared for on the field, in their community, and at the doctor’s office. Your MATCHED gift today will strengthen this work and help us increase inclusive practices in health and wellness systems around the world.
