As you may have seen in the news, the recent election for the Wisconsin Supreme Court had national implications for key issues like abortion rights and the environment. And just last week, the North Carolina state legislature overturned the governor's veto of a bill that loosens gun regulations – a setback for gun safety.

Now more than ever, state-level races are having national implications.
