John, expanding Medicaid is a tremendous achievement for North Carolina. It’s important that we have been able to deliver on our promise of making health care more accessible and affordable for the people of our state.

It’s been a priority of mine for years, and when I met with President Biden last month, I told him that I hope our success will inspire the remaining 10 states that have yet to pass Medicaid Expansion to do so.

I’ve promised President Biden that I’ll continue to do everything possible to support his agenda for America. Giving more people better quality health care, protecting our democracy and our most fundamental rights, finding solutions to fight climate change, improving our infrastructure and creating good-paying jobs. These are the things that we must do to move America forward.
