24th Annual Easter Basket Drive
Yesterday, the Women's Legislative Caucus held their 24th Annual Easter Basket Drive at the Hawaii State Capitol with Rep. Matsumoto and her staff at the helm. They were able to gather 150+ baskets filled with hygiene and household items to help women and children in need. Rep. Matsumoto shares, "I am honored to have chaired this event for the last 9 years and am grateful for all of the hard work that my staff puts in every year to make this happen!"

Waipahu Town Hall
Ewa Beach Boys and Girls Club stopped by the capitol to thank Rep. Alcos for a project he worked on with them last year. The Boys and Girls Club lacked ventilation and the building was extremely hot. They thanked him for installing new windows and A/C. This shows that our efforts mean a great deal to our young constituents!

DreamHouse Center
Representative Garcia took part in the groundbreaking ceremony of the DreamHouse Center in Kapolei, which will house the DreamHouse Charter School for years to come. Educational choice is important for the families of West Oahu.
