Fellow Democrats,

Six years ago, the IDCCA & the National Democratic Training Committee partnered to develop the first-ever candidate Boot Camp in Illinois. Since then, our annual event has expanded to include Party leadership, grassroots volunteers, and campaign staff training. It has grown into one of the largest learning opportunities, as well as networking opportunities, in the state for Democrats. It has produced over 150 alumni who have been elected to public office and countless leaders populated throughout the state building the Party.

We’re excited to announce the next IDCCA / NDTC Bootcamp will be Saturday, May 20th, from 9 am - 4 pm. This year’s Boot Camp will be held in-person in the Bloomington / Normal area.

The deadline to apply is April 28, but don’t wait too long! Capacity is limited. If you’re interested, apply ASAP to make sure you secure your chance at a spot.

If you’re running for office or thinking about it, working on a campaign, or working with your local Democratic Party, this full-day training will provide the tools, skills, and insight you need to succeed. You’ll learn things like how to raise money, how to calculate a win number, how to craft a compelling message, how to expand your reach through digital media, and more.

If you’re interested in learning to excel in any of these roles, we hope you’ll join us for the next IDCCA Bootcamp on May 20th. Click now to apply early and secure your chance to get in! →
