National Parks are not theme parks. Campaign for National Parks speaks out!
Campaign for National Parks shares concerns about the approach to development in the National Parks.
Speaking to the Sunday Telegraph, Corinne Pluchino said: “It is absolutely essential that National Parks are properly protected from developments that threaten the very reasons they were designated in the first place: to conserve and enhance their natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage and to enable everyone to enjoy these special qualities…The National Parks are not theme parks - they are internationally recognised landscapes.”

Friends of the Lake District is leading a campaign against commercialisation without conservation: ‘Save Our Lake District’ or SOLD. Over the coming weeks Campaign for National Parks will be speaking to individuals and organisations from across the National Parks as we seek to make a difference at a national level.
