We are excited to invite you to join us for the "Day of Action at the Capitol" on Monday, April 24th! This event is an opportunity for union members like you to make their presence known in the legislature and advocate for the issues that matter most to working families in Arizona.

Dennis Dougherty, the Executive Director of the Colorado AFL-CIO, will be our special guest speaker and will share his knowledge and experiences with us. In addition to the inspiring keynote, we will also be offering two informative classes. "Lobbying 101," facilitated by Daniella Smith of Limited Consulting, will teach you how to become a citizen lobbyist and effectively communicate with your elected officials. In the "Constituency Groups" information session, you'll learn how to get more involved with groups that share your interests and concerns.

This is also an opportunity to meet and talk with your legislators and show them that working people deserve a fair and just society. Lunch will be provided, and you are encouraged to bring your friends and family to join us for this exciting event.
