About the Program
In 2021, California invested over $6 billion to expand broadband infrastructure, address affordability, and promote digital literacy. PPIC researchers Amy Gong Liu and Darriya Starr will present findings from a new report that examines barriers to installing broadband in underserved communities and will offer recommendations as the state aims to close the digital divide.
This research and event are supported with funding from the Michelson 20MM Foundation and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
