Church of England half-apologises over for statement that sex is just for married heterosexuals

The archbishops of Canterbury and York have apologised over a statement issued by Church of England bishops last week which declared that only married heterosexuals should have sex. The archbishops didn't retract the substance of the guidance, but implied it shouldn't have been issued during a review of C of E teaching on sexuality and marriage.
