Jack, it's a tragic truth in America today that we simply cannot avoid the gun debate.
But after yet another horrific school shooting — followed by yet another round of Republican "Thoughts and Prayers," — commonsense gun safety reform should be on the table.
But Republicans are not only against stronger gun laws — they're actively trying to roll back the gun reform measures that passed under President Biden.
In Texas, a federal judge declared that it was unconstitutional to prohibit domestic abusers under a protective order from having a gun.
And in West Virginia, a judge invalidated part of a federal law prohibiting the possession of a firearm with an altered or removed serial number.
Republicans and the NRA will do anything to end gun regulations. We need to know where you stand on common sense reforms.
