What has me concerned about recent events in the news is this ongoing trend of our political leaders attacking some of the most vital institutions in America.

Undermining the integrity of our judicial system, our elections, our national security institutions and the Justice Department with baseless accusations and political attacks undermines the very foundations of America.

I'm not going to say that these entities are perfect - nobody is. But we should trust in the wisdom of our nation's founders, and generations of honorable public servants since then that have put in place checks and balances to ensure accountability. The system works, but it is certainly being tested.

I don't recognize today's Republican Party anymore that seems more focused on fueling grievances and dividing people rather than offering a conservative policy agenda to grow support and solve problems for Americans.

That's what I will continue to be focused on and you can count on me to continue rallying Americans to stand up for these institutions that are so vital to America's continued prosperity.

I'm out there every week giving speeches, doing media interviews, communicating on social media and using every other tool at my disposal to give hope and encouragement to as many Americans as I can.
