We sent a lot of emails about our FEC fundraising deadline, so I thought it important to report back on the numbers we’re going to file.

You should be very proud of this:

Donations: 106,000+
These are not donations from hedge fund managers and far-right Republicans. 98% of our donations were $100 or less and 99.9% of our donors can give again.

We are funding our campaign much differently than Senator Sinema. Thank you.

Raised: $3.7 million
That’s a lot of money. But the truth is, Senator Sinema reported having almost $10 million in cash. She had a big head start and we’ll catch up, but that means we can’t slow down.

Other Facts
* The most common profession of a donor to our campaign was a teacher. Doctors and nurses were up there as well.

* Some of the most common employers of donors to our campaign were people who work at the University of Arizona and Arizona State, along with the US Postal Service and Amazon workers.

* People who work at banks and donated to our campaign are not the CEOs. We looked: document prep specialists, tellers, and even a financial crimes investigator.
