John,

We are in "the week that changed the world" during a time when it is more acceptable to hate Christians.

This week, Newsweek published my op-ed exposing how increasing verbal and physical attacks are marginalizing Christians--and leaving our world worse off:

If you missed it, be sure to catch my appearance earlier this week on Fox News, where I discussed the wave of religious persecution coming from the media, the government, and now violent criminals: foxnews.com/video/6323918151112.

Anti-Christian bigotry is a betrayal of our country's most cherished freedoms...

...but Holy Thursday is a good day to reflect on betrayal. This week on The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we dive deep into how Judas betrayed our Lord as well as the four cherished relationships betrayed by abortion:

Betrayal is a particularly cold sin, but it's not the last word.

Just as God made Judas's treachery an opportunity to save the world, He can plant the seeds of redemption in the ruins of our broken culture.

The Lord could heal our world by Himself in an instant. But in His generosity, He invites you and me to be part of the solution.

Thank you for accepting that invitation this Lent, and have a blessed Holy Week and a joyful Easter!

For life,
