Range of roles available through new Supported Housing Improvement Programme Nottingham City Council was recently successful in an expression of interest to the?Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities?to participate in a ?20 million 3-year Supported Housing Improvement Programme, alongside a number of other local authorities, following a successful pilot programme. The programme has been developed to address poor-quality supported housing and to drive up standards in the city. A number of new posts are currently being advertised to support the programme: Supported Accommodation Officer (Grade I) 2 x Environmental Health Officer (Grade H) Planning Enforcement Officer (Grade G) 2 x Review Officer (Grade G) Performance and Development Officer (Grade G) All posts are funded until March 2025. By working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, charged with the reviewing and inspecting of both accommodation, support and exempt housing benefit applications, post holders will work to ensure that Nottingham citizens are supported and empowered to live independently whilst also working with tenants and landlords to set a benchmark of good standards in the sector, championing best value in partnership with public and voluntary sector bodies.
