Dear John

Welcome back and happy new year to you for 2020! I hope you had a great break with family and that the year has started off well.

Local priorities for 2020

As your representative, my focus is guided by your needs. This year I'll continue to place strong emphasis on the following key areas:

✔ Public Transport and Congestion. This includes improvements to the Northcote Pt Ferry terminal, the Harbour Bridge Shared Path and SeaPath projects, and congestion on and around our main arterial routes;

✔ Crime and safety. Police stats indicate that burglaries and thefts are on the rise in our community. I’ll be working with your local police to ensure they are well resourced to make our communities safer.

✔ Accountability of Auckland Transport and Council. I’ll be ensuring local needs are taken on-board by Council and AT so that service improvements meet the needs of our community.

Election Year is here!

Believe it or not but it’s election time again! It’s a huge privilege serving on your behalf in Parliament. I’m seeking another term as your local MP and I'm looking forward to getting out and campaigning hard for your Party and Electorate vote.

As the election nears, you’ll see more of our Party's aspirations and plans for addressing our most pressing issues and moving our great nation forward. I joined the National Party because I believe in an economy of opportunity, where anyone who wants to get ahead can make a better life for themselves.

Last year we published 10 Discussion Documents on topics like the economy, infrastructure, housing, education and the environment, each with dozens of ideas. For more click HERE <[link removed]>.

We will be refining these ideas and publishing our policies over the next few months as we head closer to the election on Saturday September 19!

Are you a Nat? Volunteer for our Election Campaign!

Do you believe in limited government, private enterprise and personal responsibility? Do you believe in equal opportunity for all New Zealanders? If you do, then join our fight this election year and volunteer for the Northcote National Party!

John, I really need your help to lift our Party Vote and ensure my re-election as your local MP. I'd appreciate any help you could offer. Please sign up here:

She said yes!

Over the Christmas break I asked my girlfriend, Courtney Simpson, to take my hand in marriage whilst visiting her parents in New York City. Fortunately for me - she said yes. I had a great Christmas break with her parents in New York and we are both looking forward to what lies ahead.

Local News
