Do you recall seeing your college acceptance letters? Often, one could tell just by the envelope size. Today, students can tell right away from the subject line whether they are receiving the news they were hoping for. Many students even call their parents before reading the rest of the email to experience this exciting moment together.
This month, we’ll be helping our college-bound seniors at our partner schools and community organizations, like Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, unpack their college acceptance letters and financial aid offers. Our College Counselors and College Success Advisors will share their expert knowledge about what to expect in college and help students understand financial aid packages to ensure their decision best fits their goals and finances. Also happening this month, we'll announce our Fulfillment Fund scholarship recipients, class of 2023! |

Back after the Break
Career Speaker Series kicked off last week, featuring guests from the entertainment industry, with the participation of volunteers representing Netflix, Televisa Univision, and Spectrum News 1. Next week, after spring break, they’ll have the chance to hear from professionals in architecture, manufacturing, and more. By starting conversations about careers now, students can better pick a major based on their future objectives.

College Signing Day is near!
It’s that time of year, and our high school seniors are receiving their long-awaited acceptance letters. We will host College Signing Day at the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools campus at the end of the month to celebrate students embarking on their college journey. Check out our photos from last year’s event.

A Voice for our Students
Fulfillment Fund continues to be deeply intentional in how we support our students and families by participating in policy discussions that affect the resources they access and systems they participate in. We aim to use our seat at the table to uplift our students’ experiences and advocate for bills and initiatives that support them on their journey to college and economic mobility.
