Imagine an educational system that requires parents to hand over their
children to a government run institution for 6-8 hours a day for no other
reason than proximity to the building.
Sounds crazy, right?
But that is what public education in the Commonwealth of Virginia has become.
It robs parents of choosing better alternatives, and enabled what happened in
Loudoun County and Fairfax County School Districts.
That’s why the biggest priority of my term this year has been the fight for
school choice in Virginia with H.B.1371. I’m humbly asking you to sign the
petition below to let my colleagues in the House of Delegates know they have
the backing of parents and concerned citizens in the Commonwealth
YES-- I support School Choice!

H.B.1371 will do something never done before: allow parents to completely opt
out of public schools by applying for an Education Savings Account. Any student
eligible to enroll in a public school can enroll for a savings account, with
the account used to cover the cost of tuition at any educational institution of
their choice.
I’ve always been a believer in personal freedom and responsibility. It’s a
very simple concept: you know better than any bureaucrat could what your family
needs at any given time.
I know giving you and your children the option of sending them to the right
school will set them up for a lifetime of success. No one should get in the way
of their future, least of all government administrators.
Will you sign your name
<[link removed]> to my
petition asking the General Assembly to back school choice?
YES-- I support School Choice!

We saw what happened in Loudoun County, patriot. Government-run institutions
with clear political agendas FAILED in protecting their students. When caught
in the act of covering it up, they lied and slandered parents defending their
children.
What happened in Loudoun County should be a wake-up call to all parents in the
Commonwealth. We shouldn’t have our most vulnerable be at the mercy of an
agenda-driven school administration. We MUST free the children of the
Commonwealth to chart their own destinies.
Will you step up and sign our petition? I’m counting on you.
