In fact, one year ago we celebrated some major wins together.
➡️ First, we defeated the worst gerrymandered Congressional map in the country.
This was a major win for Maryland and for fair elections. We brought it to the national spotlight to help change the course of history so that other states can follow our lead.
➡️ Second, we passed the most HISTORIC tax cut ever in Maryland.
We led the way for other states and D.C. politicians to help Americans during a time of uncertainty and skyrocketing inflation.
➡️ Third, we announced the Maryland Cancer Moonshot, investing over $216 million to accelerate all of Maryland's efforts to detect, prevent, treat, and find a cure for cancer so we can save more lives. As a survivor of cancer, I pledged to fight for those who are fighting this terrible disease.
Our goal was and will always be to encourage leaders across the country to put the people they serve first, and to follow Maryland's lead – because what we did worked!
