Friends,

For Christians, Easter is the most important holiday. It can be compared to the Jewish Passover. Blood was shed once a year to take away the sins of the people.

On Easter Christ's perfect blood was shed to take away the sins of mankind for all time. A free gift for all who accept him.

He suffered, died and was buried. On the 3rd day he rose again.

John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

I do not have a lot to report on the legislative front, this week deadlines for spending and policy closed, and we are getting ready for Omnibus Bill season. In the coming weeks look for updates as the various bills are brought forward looking on policy and spending for the next biennium.

Tomorrow starts my local town halls, unfortunately due to the risk of bad weather WE ARE RESCHEDULING THE BAUDETTE MEETING; this was for Friday 4/7 at 10:30am at the Baudette City Hall.

All other meetings are a go!
