Breaking news: this morning, Senator Cory Gardner told Colorado Politics that he plans to vote against allowing witnesses in the impeachment trial.

Let’s be real: this impeachment trial is just the tip of the iceberg with Cover Up Cory. He’s one of 2020’s most vulnerable senators, and though he pretends to be a “reasonable” Republican, the truth is he votes with Trump 90% of the time. The people of Colorado deserve better -- a senator with their interests, not corporate and Trump interests, at heart.

With Trump’s approval ratings in the garbage in Colorado, this is one of our best chances to take back a Senate seat for Democrats. It’s a perfect example of why we launched the Payback Project last week: it’s our million-dollar plan to hold Gardner and eight of his worst GOP colleagues accountable and kick them out of the Senate in November.
