John,
We want to take a moment to thank you for everything you do for Sandy Hook Promise. Every day, your support brings us closer to a world where no parent has to endure the unbearable pain of losing a child to gun violence. There's still plenty of work ahead of us, but we're so grateful to have you by our side.
Because you stepped up and took action in 2019, the House passed historic universal background checks legislation. More than 11 million students and educators have participated in our Know the Signs gun violence prevention programs. We've been able to take big steps toward concrete, meaningful change to protect children from gun violence.
There aren't enough words to express how much we appreciate your generosity and support, so we wanted to share some of the biggest ways we made a profound difference together last year – and how we can continue this lifesaving work side by side in 2020.
