‌John,

Too many communities across our country have been devastated by gun violence. Just last week, two mass shootings took the lives of eight people, including three nine-year-old children.

I believe that no one should live in fear of gun violence harming their community or their family. That's why I'm committed to fighting for laws that will make us all safer.

Passing common-sense legislation like Ethan's Law — a bill I introduced to prevent accidental gun deaths due to unsafe storage — and the Keep Americans Safe Act , a bill that will ban magazines with more than ten rounds of ammunition, are just some steps we can take as a country to move past this senseless carnage. If our children are going to have a future without the constant fear of mass shootings, we MUST act now.

We cannot grow complacent. We cannot accept mass shootings as the cost of living in the United States. It is long past time we took strong action to end this epidemic.

If you agree it's time to take action to prevent senseless gun violence, sign our petition today. >> [link removed]
