Polar bears

Hi John,

A federal judge has ruled to let the Willow project break ground.

We're appealing that decision. We're also filing another request for an emergency injunction to stop this project.

We're not going to give up or slow down. We'll keep fighting to save Alaska's Western Arctic and its wildlife — and we need you with us.

Please help us carry on with a gift to the Saving Life on Earth Fund. Thanks to a generous donor, all gifts will be matched.

This giveaway to Big Oil was first approved by Trump, and we and our allies immediately challenged it in court. A federal judge sided with us, tossing out the approval because it didn't follow science or properly consider the staggering risks to our climate and frontline species like polar bears.

But the Biden administration turned its back on the planet and greenlit Willow anyway. Now a judge has let construction begin.

We'll do everything we can to protect polar bears, seals, caribou, migratory birds and other vulnerable species, as well as the natural landscapes and biodiversity we love so much.

The Western Arctic is the largest, most intact stretch of wilderness in the United States. It must be protected — not turned into on oilfield.

This isn't over. We're going all out to stop this disastrous project in court — and to get approval for Willow thrown out again.

All life on Earth depends on actions like these.

It's what we were founded to do, and we'll never stop.

Please help by making a matched donation to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.

For the wild,

Kierán Suckling
