11:59 p.m. Deadline // 10,000 Signatures Needed

friend, last week, three children and three adults were shot and killed at a school in Nashville in the 130th mass shooting of 2023. And what do Republican officials have to say about it?

Well, according to Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN): "We're not going to fix it."

You read that right. In the face of senseless suffering, bloodshed and violence, Republicans are just shrugging their shoulders.

Guns are the no. 1 killer of children in America right now, and yet, the GOP would rather continue pandering to the gun lobby than save innocent lives. Something is seriously wrong here, and we won't let it slide.

American Bridge works every day to hold Republicans accountable, like those who continue to sit by and let gun violence claim hundreds of thousands of lives.

But we need your help: We've set a goal of gathering 10,000 signatures on our critical gun violence prevention petition – but we haven't received yours yet, friend. Please, before 11:59 p.m. tonight, will you add your name to hold Republicans like Tim Burchett accountable for their refusal to stop gun violence?
