Dear John,

We are delighted to announce Population Matters' Spring Action Month [3]!

Between Saturday 22 April (Earth Day) and Monday 22 May (International Day
of Biological Diversity) we want as many of our supporters and members to
get involved with our campaigns, to be thinking about our impact on the
planet and the biodiversity in our gardens, and acting to support our
campaigns.

There's something for everyone and we'd love to hear your plans!

Step into spring!

Check out all our spring action ideas. There is something for everyone to
do. Choose from our suggestions or be inspired to come up with your own.

SPRING ACTION MONTH [3]

Raise sponsorship

May is National Walking Month in the UK. Could you raise sponsorship by
walking for Population Matters? Or could you take on a running challenge
like #5KMay to raise funds?

SET UP YOUR FUNDRAISER [4]

Acting for local biodiversity

As part of our HUMANATURE [5] campaign we know that insect populations
matter [6]. Encourage biodiversity by letting wildlife flourish in your
lawn during #NoMowMay or attract extra pollinators by planting seeds.

Planting, sorting and selling

Get out in the garden and plant some seeds. Or why not scratch that spring
cleaning itch by reselling unwanted items at a yard or car boot sale,
online on eBay [8], or via trade-in websites. You could then donate some
of the funds raised to Population Matters.

DOWNLOAD SPRING IDEAS

We hope you'll be inspired by these activities for our Spring Action Month.
We really appreciate all your support whether it's acting for biodiversity,
raising funds for us, or simply spreading the word.

I am here to help with any fundraising questions you might have or to
explore other ideas so please do get in touch if you need any help.

With best regards,

Anthony Howarth
