Over the last couple of weeks, we have been emailing quite urgently for your help to defend our progress and continue our work of consistent voter engagement across the Commonwealth. Today, we’re writing to thank you.

Empowering new voters from historically disenfranchised and neglected communities to show up to the polls in Pennsylvania is not an easy task. It’s thanks to your continuous support we are able to do so much. We are deeply thankful to you for being a part of our movement to expand the electorate.

Our democracy works best when everyone's voice is heard – including; Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth. Our work will continue until we see true representation at the polls and in our elected officials.

It is comforting to know that thousands of people are just as dedicated as we are to transforming the Commonwealth for the better. No matter the challenges, we know we are always able to count on you to stay engaged in this fight.

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
