Gerald worked at the U.S. Postal Service knowing that he could have Sundays off to honor the Lord’s Day.
When the USPS started delivering on Sundays for Amazon, Gerald was granted a religious accommodation. Grateful for the accommodation, Gerald picked up additional shifts during the week, often working double-shifts and holidays.
However, after initially honoring Gerald’s religious accommodation, the post office changed its mind and took away Gerald’s ability to take off on Sundays—forcing him to choose between his job and his faith.
No American should be forced to choose between their religion and their job.
That’s why we’re fighting for Gerald at the Supreme Court, so every American who holds religious beliefs can be reasonably accommodated in the workplace.
It’s time to join Gerald in the fight for what matters most—religious freedom. Will you join us on the frontlines as we protect the religious beliefs of employees across the country? >>
