Dear John,
As we prepare to celebrate Resurrection Sunday this week, we are sadly constantly reminded by the world around us of how much we all desperately need our Savior, Jesus Christ.
From an outbreak of massive storms the last two weekends that turned entire communities upside down to the unthinkable shooting at a Christian school in Nashville which took the lives of 3 children and 3 adults, death and destruction are shocking our nation.
All of these tragic events should give us pause.
Resurrection Sunday points to the hope of life eternal, even though it looked as if death had triumphed. We need to hear the word from the Lord as the prophet Ezekiel did and speak that word without fear to a world that has chosen to close its eyes and ears to the truth.
Just look at our society's dark and disheartening race to embrace the lies of gender identity ideology. It can be excruciating to see increasing numbers of teens and young children being indoctrinated into rejecting reality and the gift of their God-given bodies.
Perhaps the most upsetting aspect of this trend is that these lies are often perpetuated by people in careers presumably dedicated to educating and protecting our kids.
A recent criminal investigation into a pediatric gender clinic at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, exposed some of the horrors being inflicted upon our nation's youth--even children as young as 11 years old. In an affidavit, a former caseworker revealed that the St. Louis facility administered cross-sex hormones to mentally ill children, sometimes against their parents' wishes, and caused permanent harm to many of its patients.
Chloe Cole knows the physical and mental trauma that gender transition procedures can inflict on a person. At just 13 years old, she was fast-tracked by medical personnel into transitioning, undergoing a double mastectomy.
Today, Chloe embraces her biological sex and advocates for protecting children so that no one else has to experience what she's been through. "What happened to me is horrible, but it didn't only happen to me. That's the worst part," Chloe said. "It's happening to children all over the U.S., all over the West, and it's spreading all over the world. I want to create a precedent for people who have been in my situation to find justice."
Scripture directs us, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11).
The most powerful tool is truth. And as long as there are courageous voices like Chloe Cole's that reject the continued experimentation on our kids, the lies and deception can be exposed.

Gender identity ideology is an aberration from God's good design, but FRC is countering the lies of the Left, such as:
- "Puberty blockers are a wise way to pause development and let children decide."
- False. Left alone, approximately 85% of children with gender dysphoria will identify with their biological sex by the time they reach adulthood. But nearly 100% of children placed on puberty blockers continue the gender transition process.
- "Puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones are reversible."
- Not true. Research and medical science show that experimenting with these drugs sets children up for infertility, early menopause, loss of bone density, and other negative health effects.
- If you don't affirm a child's gender identity, they will commit suicide."
- Possibly the most dangerous lie of all! International studies show that "gender reassignment" surgery does not necessarily reduce, but may actually increase, rates of suicide among people struggling with gender dysphoria.
Regretfully, the facts haven't stopped public officials in our nation's highest offices from promoting these insidious lies that put children at risk.
HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, who identifies as transgender, has told pediatricians they should be missionaries on behalf of gender transition procedures for minors. "The positive value of gender-affirming care is not in serious scientific or medical dispute," said Levine last April at Texas Christian University. "Gender-affirming care is medical care. It is mental health care. It is suicide prevention care."
John, we must continue to call out and counter this devil-driven deception by equipping parents and concerned citizens with the knowledge that can guard their kids, open eyes, and change hearts and minds.
