Salaam, and Ramadan Mubarak! Just a few months ago, I joined a number of my colleagues on a life-changing Umrah trip. This was not only an opportunity to forge stronger connections with those I work with, but also a chance to recenter my values and how they inform my work at Emgage.
During this trip, our team climbed Jabal Al Nour, the Mountain of Light, where the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). I won’t lie to you: this was a hard climb. It took 1,750 steps to get to the top of the mountain. Every step of the way, I was grateful for the people around me who inspired me to keep going. We worked together, encouraging each other to put one foot in front of the other when the path got difficult.
