Dear William,

This is horrifying! Florida has just banned abortions after week 6 of pregnancy before most women even know they are pregnant.

This is just the latest strike against the freedom of American women. States across our country are criminalizing doctors and women for providing or seeking an abortion. I agree with the 8 in 10 Americans who believe women should have the freedom to make the best decision for themselves about if, when, and how to start or grow a family—free from political interference.

My bill, the Women’s Health Protection Act, will stop the federal and state governments from banning or making medically unnecessary restrictions against abortion. The only way to make this a reality is for Democrats to take back the congress in 2024.
