New Process to Streamline Advertising Complaints
Many advertising-related complaints can be handled easily, from adding missing brokerage information on?"for sale"?signs to adding missing required links on a license holder?s website. Because of these simple remedies, TREC is launching the Advertising Compliance Program, which will streamline the processing of complaints that deal only with advertising violations.

Texas Broker-Lawyer Committee Accepting Applications for Members
TREC is seeking to appoint two Texas Broker-Lawyer Committee [ [link removed] ] (BLC) positions for 2024. The BLC drafts and revises all contracts promulgated by the Texas Real Estate Commission. It consists of
* Six members appointed by the Commission
* Six members appointed by the State Bar of Texas
* One public member appointed by the Governor's Office.

Texas Real Estate Inspector Committee Accepting Applications for Inspector, Public Members
The Texas Real Estate Inspector Committee [ [link removed] ] (TREIC) is accepting applications to fill two inspector seats and two public member seats. TREIC is made up of nine members appointed by the Commission:?

* Three public members
