David Richter was invited to speak on stage at Donald Trump’s South Jersey rally, where he announced his plans to, “throw Andy Kim out of Congress.”

But Richter wasn’t the only opponent to make an appearance last night. Kate Gibbs was also spotted at the Trump rally -- the handpicked candidate of National Republicans who just cashed a $10,000 check from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Donald Trump’s appearance in New Jersey signals that Republicans mean business here in 2020 -- and with another Trump sycophant in the race, we know that we’re in for a competitive fight.

All of this is bad for residents of Ocean and Burlington counties, and we knew from the moment she announced that Kate Gibbs would put party interests over New Jersey residents. Now that David Richter has switched districts to jump into this race, we know he will do just the same.

Andy’s opponents are going to fall lockstep with the National Republican agenda including gutting your healthcare, denying the science of climate change, and refusing to reinstate the SALT deduction.

We know this will be an extremely competitive race.
