We'll be blunt: Our reproductive freedom is in a moment of crisis. 18 states are currently enforcing bans on abortion and the GOP is pushing for more bans across the country despite the fact that an overwhelming majority of Americans support the legal right to abortion. House Republicans have made restricting abortion their top priority and they will try to ban abortion nationally next. The need to lock the right to abortion into federal law is more urgent than ever.

But we have some good news: House Democrats recently reintroduced the Women's Health Protection Act (WHPA), which would restore the right to abortion throughout the country. Tell your member of Congress to support WHPA now!

The Women's Health Protection Act would create the right for health care providers to provide abortion care and a corresponding right for people to receive that care—free from medically unnecessary restrictions. Passing this critical bill is a clear way for our members of Congress to protect our abortion rights and access, especially after the fall of Roe v. Wade.
