Dear Fellow Conservative,
It took our nation 215 years to reach $7 trillion in debt, but it took the Biden Administration only 27 months to add another $7 trillion - and American families are suffering because of it.
I'm sure you were as outraged as I was to learn that during December 20th's Lame Duck session, Congress passed their 4,155-page Omnibus Bill, packing some $1.85 TRILLION into this year's fiscal budget, just one day after the bill was introduced.
In total, this Omnibus Bill will increase the federal deficit by $2.65 trillion over the next 10 years—$20,000 per household.
Which means even higher inflation at a time when 42% of Americans have less than $1,000 in their savings accounts.
With the Treasury—and therefore the taxpayer—already $31.5 trillion in debt, our federal government's reckless spending cannot be allowed to continue.
This is why The Heritage Foundation is working on your behalf to secure the passage of a fiscally responsible budget resolution including at least 50 of the 200 specific policy recommendations found in our 2023 Budget Blueprint.
These efforts will right-size the federal government and drive down inflation to keep more of your hard-earned money where it belongs—with you and your family.
But we need your help: our 50 years of experience fighting on behalf of our members has taught us that policymakers tend to be more responsive when they know conservatives are demanding reform.
So if this issue matters to you, please take action now by signing your name to this urgent demand for fiscal reform.
Armed with the names of thousands of fiscally responsible citizens like you, the Heritage enterprise will pressure lawmakers to do more than offer empty promises and pursue meaningful fiscal policy reform today.
It only takes one minute to sign your name to this pledge using the secure link below:
