CPI Partners Newsletter: March in Review
They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. But that doesn't have to be the case with conservatives who come to Washington to take on the system. CPI connects them with one another and encourages them to keep the heart of a lion as they fight to save our country.
Two recent articles in Politico ([link removed]) and The Washington Post ([link removed]) reflected just how alarmed liberals are by CPI's office expansion here in D.C.
Sen. J.D. Vance joined American Moment's 100th episode of the Moment of Truth ([link removed]) podcast, filmed from CPI headquarters, to discuss the train derailment in Ohio, the Ukraine war, and the banking crisis.
On March 20, the new head of the Election Integrity Network ([link removed]) and President of the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, Lynn Taylor, gave an incredible testimony in defense of conservative poll observers before the Elections Subcommittee of the U.S. House Committee on Administration.
Federal Communications Commission nominee Gigi Sohn withdrew her nomination after Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV, announced he would vote "no" on her long-sought confirmation. Research by CPI Partner Group American Accountability Foundation ([link removed]) showed that Sohn is a radical, anti-police leftist.
Former Montana Supreme Court Justice James Nelson called for a "jihad" against the Montana Freedom Caucus ([link removed]) for proposing amendments to their state constitution that would hold the Montana court accountable for their false claim that there is a right to abortion in the state constitution and their efforts to stop pro-life bills.
CPI at CPAC
Hundreds visited CPI's booth at the 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) where the CPI team fielded constant requests from young conservatives and others interested in CPI's staffing and coalition work.
Church and State Panel
On March 6, Freedom and Identity in Central Europe (FICE) and Liberty University's Freedom Center hosted a dual panel discussion at the CPC on the separation of church and state in the 21st century.
Fresh Freedom
Freshman House Freedom Caucus Reps. Eric Burlison, Josh Brecheen, Andy Ogles, and Eli Crane launched the "Fresh Freedom ([link removed]) " podcast from CPI Studios.
On March 30, CPI and Hillsdale College in D.C. hosted a networking reception for congressional staffers and allies with over a dozen conservative groups including Freedom Caucus, Senate Steering Committee, Heritage Foundation, Claremont Institute, American Cornerstone Institute, and others.
