Spring is a good time to view sage-grouse

CHEYENNE ? Though it hardly seems like spring, the Wyoming version is underway. Don?t let the cold and windy weather keep you indoors. April is one of the best months to view sage-grouse on their leks in Wyoming.?

Wyoming bears are starting to wake up and become active

CHEYENNE ??Wyoming?s bears are waking from hibernation throughout the state.?The bears? spring emergence serves as a reminder for outdoor recreationalists and homeowners in bear-inhabited areas of Wyoming to brush up on bear safety.

Game and Fish Commission to meet in Casper

CHEYENNE ? The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission?s next meeting is April 17-18 in Casper. The meeting will be held at the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission Building, 2211 King Blvd. The public is invited to attend in-person or online via ZOOM video conferencing and will have a chance to speak to the Commission on any matter.
