We're hosting multiple virtual events throughout the month, and we hope you'll join us for them!
First up is our annual Capitol Hill Days advocacy event, cohosted with our sister organization, Population Connection Action Fund. This event brings advocates from across the country and around the world to talk about global reproductive health, environmental, and population issues. We invite you to join us this Wednesday and Thursday (April 5 th and 6 th ) for an informational workshop/networking session, a virtual hands-on advocacy training, and a keynote address from Congresswoman Susan Wild (PA-07).
On Friday (April 7 th ), you'll have the opportunity to meet with your members of Congress and ask them to support a larger investment in international family planning and a permanent end to the Global Gag Rule.

Next, Population Connection President and CEO John Seager will discuss how removing barriers to family planning services can help address the drivers of rapid population growth. His presentation, Whose Planet Is It, Anyway? Earth Day Challenges for a Crowded World, takes place on April 13 th at 2pm ET/11am PT.

The following week, we’re hearing from our earliest Global Partner, Conservation Through Public Health. Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka, Founder and Executive Director, will share insights on the organization’s integrated approach that improves the relationships of wildlife, humans, and livestock in and around East Africa’s protected areas. Her presentation, Promoting One Health to Protect Endangered Gorillas , takes place on April 19 th at 1pm ET/10am PT.
