John,
This week is National Public Health Week. During my tenure in office, public health has been a top issue for me. Ensuring that our communities are healthy and that people are living up to their potential is key to making our state and nation better and brighter. To do that, health care must be accessible and affordable.
If you’re with me for healthier communities, will you make a contribution to my campaign in honor of National Public Health Week?
That’s why I’ve advocated for millions in funding to support rural health care and resolve the shortage of health care workers in Georgia. I’ve called on Governor Kemp to expand Medicaid to prevent hospital closures, support our medical centers, and expand the health care available for seniors. I’ve supported bills to increase access to telehealth, lower prescription drug prices, and expand insurance coverage. I’ve advocated for better food and nutrition for students in school.
Despite all of that though, the public health of our communities remains at risk. For too many Americans, health care is too expensive and inaccessible — which is why I remain committed to working towards solutions.
John, in honor of National Public Health Week, will you join me in pursuit of a healthier, stronger country by making a contribution to my campaign?
Thank you,
Congressman Sanford Bishop
