Friend,
Six months ago, Hurricane Ian made landfall just south of Tampa, Fla.
Deemed Florida’s deadliest hurricane on record since 1935 — and one of the strongest hurricanes to ever hit the United States — its impact on vulnerable coastal communities was catastrophic.
In the months since the hurricane hit, Americares has delivered over $880,000 in aid to 15 partner organizations supporting survivors. We've helped health clinics repair storm damage, purchase fuel for generators and replace damaged medical equipment, while also providing medical supplies, hygiene kits and mental health support to affected communities.
Our work is far from over. To commemorate this devastating event, we wanted to share this video with you about our response and continuing efforts to rebuild Florida after this devastation. Click to take an in-depth look at our work in Florida and surrounding areas.

Thank you,
Americares
P.S.: Our work has helped thousands of people recover from the disaster, but there's still more to be done – and this recovery takes a lot of time and a lot of support from people like you. Please, will you make a gift of $65 or more right now so we can continue our support for those impacted by disasters like Hurricane Ian?
