Kellogg prohibits glyphosate

Dear John,

We have MAJOR news to share with you – Kellogg is prohibiting pre-harvest glyphosate for its wheat and oat crops!

Glyphosate is a pesticide and a human carcinogen. It’s the main
ingredient in RoundUp. Big Agriculture is spraying RoundUp on wheat and oat crops right before harvest, to dry them out and make harvesting easier. As a result, glyphosate residues on crops have been skyrocketing. Now we’re finding glyphosate in products like Quaker Oats, granola bars, and even Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

Kellogg is saying NO to pre-harvest glyphosate – and not just for its adult brands like Raisin Bran and Special K but its children’s’ products too, like Frosted Flakes and Froot Loops.

Kellogg’s commitment sets the stage for industry-wide action. We’ll monitor Kellogg on its progress, and at the same time ratchet up the pressure on peer companies like Quaker Oats’ parent company Pepsi.

We can do this. We can make food safe to eat.
