Dear Health Advocates,

Now is the time to make sure we are lifting up the importance of Medicaid, particularly as we navigate the resumption of redeterminations this spring and prepare for the debt ceiling fight this summer. As a call to action, we have two sign-on opportunities acting to protect Medicaid to share with you. Please see more resources, events, and action items below:

NEW! Families USA Sign On Letter to Congressional Leadership: No Medicaid Cuts. See full letter text and sign on HERE by Friday, April 14 at 5pm ET. Please join Families USA, alongside national and state partner organizations, in support of the critically important Medicaid program and to express our united opposition to any proposals to cut Medicaid funding as part of upcoming negotiations over the federal budget, debt limit, or any other legislative priorities. 
NEW! Sign On Letter to HHS Secretary Becerra: Medicaid Unwinding. See full letter text and sign on HERE by Wednesday, April 12 at 5pm ET. Please join a group letter from civil rights groups and other stakeholders encouraging the Administration to hold states accountable throughout the Medicaid unwinding. Note that they are looking for sign-ons from national organizations only.
