View how your senator and delegate voted and how one Senate committee blocked four key pro-life bills
During the 2023 Virginia General Assembly session (Jan. 11 – Feb. 25), your state senator and delegate cast key votes on critical issues impacting human life, dignity and the common good. Check out the vote report here!
Our report features three charts:
The Senate Education & Health Committee chart was included due to the high number of VCC-supported pro-life bills the committee rejected and thereby blocked from receiving full Senate consideration. Details on the bills appear after the charts.
Take a look to see how your state senator and delegate voted. Not sure who your state legislators are? Use the Find Your Legislator feature here.
Please share our vote report with family members, friends, fellow parishioners and anyone else who would be interested in learning the outcomes and how their legislators voted!
Note: The 2023 session was the last one for the current districts. New district maps (based on the 2020 census) will take effect for this year’s elections for all 140 Virginia General Assembly seats.
