“When my party is wrong,” Cory Gardner declared, “I’ll say it.”

Last week Gardner voted to block witnesses and documents in the Senate
impeachment trial. Today he announced his opposition to calling John
Bolton as well—despite the former national security advisor’s offer to
testify.

The White House is engaged in a cover-up. Gardner’s decision makes him
complicit.

In an editorial published this morning, the Denver Post asked whether
Colorado’s junior senator would “rise above the party machinery and the
right-wing talk radio that are exerting maximum pressure on Republicans.”
Gardner just gave his answer.

for Gardner to go.
