CPAC Endorses Idaho Clean Slate Policy

CPAC worked with legislative leaders in Idaho to support HB 149, which passed with overwhelming support and was signed into law by Governor Brad Little last week. This important legislation will give those who are rehabilitated and are no longer a threat to public safety the opportunity to fully re-integrate back into their communities through a record sealing process. CPAC’s letter in support of the bill noted the balance this bill strikes between holding people accountable, while still giving those who have made mistakes an opportunity to succeed.
